nostalgia, 2

Browsing through the archives of this blog, I can’t help but notice how much have changed since I went to college. And as I was going through college.

I remember why I set up this blog (June 2006), so that I can chronicle my college life as it unfolds. But I guess majority of the time I had the writer’s block, or I was simply preoccupied with other stuff.

So here I am, typing away during the last few moments I have left of 2010. I do not want to wrap the year up in extensive sentences in this blog because I am too embarrassed to do so. (pa-cute smile here. Haha).

I would just like to say this.. 2010 didn’t start as well as I hoped it would, but I learned several life lessons along the way: Forgive, Forget, Love. In the end everything eventually turns out just fine.:)

500 for someone lucky

Last week before going home from Bo's place, where we were having a little MOrg kinda-Christmas party, I withdrew Php500 from BPI in Astral using my GCash account. I guess I was REALLY tired, so after I got my card out, I turned away from the ATM and headed home, without even getting my cash!

I only realized what happened when, shortly after crossing the Intersection of Apacible and San Marcelino, I checked my phone and saw the withdrawal confirmation message from Globe. Oh my Jen. Too late to go back now, I guess. At least I did not forget to get my card too, right?

Anyways, in my quest to be a shiny happy person all the time, I just let it go.

I would like to think the person who got it needed it more than I did.

thoughts on you

Hey you..I just don't get it. Why do you keep acting like a bad person when you're NOT?

You act like a douchebag, especially in treating (and replacing) women, but you really aren't that kind of person. Really. Why do you keep acting like a jerk in front of your friends?

I saw how you really were, loyal and loving.

Anyway, I'm hoping you're just passing through THAT phase of your life.

Cream Silk ReCharge Stregth Boost. It works!

My sister visited me last week, during my GC haze, and it didn't take her even a minute to realize how much hair I have been losing. See it was everywhere, in every corner of my room, in my sheets, in my table!

So then she told me that it probably is because of stress. I wanted to explain to her how it may also be caused by my OB medications but I was too tired so I just shut up. I have all of Sunday to tell her anyway. :)

She told me that if I wanted to save my remaining hair I had to de-stress myself. "Stop thinking about your studies!" She said that she had a lot of hair fall too last year because she was the class president, CAT officer, and EIC of our former high-school's paper. I knew she was just trying to help me solve my problem but I cannot ignore my GCness. See, it was finals week last week and three subjects didn't have exemption criteria, so everyone was required to take them damn finals.

Then on wednesday, because I was already out of conditioner, I went to the hair section of Mercury Drug near my place. And because they didn't have stocks of my regular conditioner, I randomly snatched a sachet of the new variant of Cream Silk Strength Boost. I figured, I will give this a try then buy a bigger one if it manages to keep my hair on its roots.

Alas! On my first use I only saw about 5 strands fall off (usually about 30). So then I bought some more and over the next few days it seemed my hair was becoming healthier, it doesn't want to leave my scalp anymore! I already bought myself the bottle/big tube, whatever it is called. Yay!!

Lazy as it sounds, I do not have to sweep my room everyday anymore! Ha! Ha! Maybe only three times a week, now.xp (But hey, I am a gal-on-the-go! *wide grin*)
