eL Laboratories

So the manufacturing internship ended yesterday (Apparently, eL is already a part of Biñan and not Sta. Rosa). I did not at all expect that I'd actually like and enjoy it there. We had a chance to go around and experience each department (QAI, QC, Prod, Warehouse, DCC, Prod Devt), but I enjoyed Prod the most. Especially whenever I am assigned to be a part of an on-line packaging assembly. There you have no choice but to be all hyped up and ready. (In comparison to other departments where staying awake is really really hard)

I will never ever forget the people I met there (Okay, maybe some/most of our co-interns I will forget). Even if someone says he's sure after a few years when we're already successful, we wouldn't even remember him. Ironically, I think it's him we will remember the most.

It's funny how unexpectedly things/perspectives change when you see the bigger picture. I thought of quoting Zac Efron in 17 Again but it wouldn't really be appropriate for the setting. Haha. Randomness forever Jen.

By the way, we rented half of a pretty big 2-storey house in San Jose Village 4C in Biñan. I particularly love its location in the village. Very..advantageous despite it being located at the cornermost corner of the last street. (Evil laugh) So. Here are some of the more memorable happenings inside the house:
- late night ROFLs because of random funny stuff
- "hawaan" of contagious quirks
- shamelessly speaking in accents
- cooking and being appreciated for it
- writing daily sabaw journals in the balcony
- late night drinking sessions (despite the 4.30 am wake up call)

laguna, pgh

So I do not have a vacation. I guess continuous work comes, literally, with growing old. But I am not too old. (I have batchmates born in 1988. We, the younger ones, in 1990)

I'm spending the rest of April and a bit of May with moi blockmates in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. We're renting a house, and there will be cooking assignments. Shocking, but I've never let them taste anything I cooked before. (This thursday, Sweet and Spicy Chicken!) And, of course, there will be drinking sessions. >:) Hopefully we'd still have enough energy at the end of the day.

Then May will be PGH month. Oooh my. The tiredness of it all! Not to mention the chaos in Manila because of the elections (which I will be part of, by the way!:]). Nevertheless, I'm really excited about learning how to make sterile preparations (injectables, parenteral nutrition, antidotes, etc). And I want a picture of me in a bunny suit. Not the playboy type, but the chemist type! Hahahaha.

I used to regret something that happened today, last year. But now I don't. The most important w, why was there. And the magic was there.

nerdy jenny

Tonight, I drank my milk with a carbocisteine capsule. Then I grasped when I realized what I just did. I drank it with milk!

It took all of 5 seconds for these questions to pile in my head:
- Will milk interact with carbocisteine?
- Will milk delay dissolution of the capsule?
- Will the ions in milk chelate with carbocisteine?
(then I pictured cysteine with some sort of alkyl group attached to it. trying to figure out where calcium will bind)
- WILL CARBOCISTEINE'S BIOAVAILABILITY DECREASE?!?!?!
(if so, hindi mawawala tong annoying phlegm thingy!!!)

Gosh. This is what I've become after a sem of Dispensing & Incompatibilities. Haha. Anyway I'm not really complaining. I got exempted from taking the finals!:)

my new baby:

UHUH!! I love it. Thank you gab for suggesting this (when I was on the verge of buying an E71). Nokia E72 is WAY better. With the Trackpad, 5 MP and all. And I chose metal grey.

Here's more information if you're thinking of buying it, too:
NOKIA E72

I have yet to name it though.

Thank you DADDY!!! =*

removed

I do not hate you. I removed you from my list because I do not want to hate you.

When I remember you, I want to think good times, and love.
