I hope our Math 17 professor will finally show up on Monday. Speaking of professors, I now know that name of our History I prof, Bernard Kargadilla. FYI: He wouldn't tell us his name when we were in his class.
I was encouraged/impressed by mr.vice pres-usc's 'speech' in the CP audi.. wow. I'm still thinking if i should quote and post what he said in this blog because it might sound too proud if chanced upon by superior-feeling people.
I was super impressed by the UP-M Indayog(tama nga ba? it's the varsity dance group of the university) and by the glee club(what's its name again?!).. Astigin.
I shall always remember the three virtues represented by the lion, tin man, scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz. These virtues were explained to us by the priest(sorry i can't remember his name) who celebrated the opening ceremony mass last June 13, 2006. Let me share with you one dialogue he talked about:
PARENT: Nag-aalala akong papasukin ang anak ko sa UP, baka maging radikal ang pag-iisip.
SAGOT: Dapat nga matuwa ka kung ganun dahil hindi lang sarili niya ang iniisip ng anak mo, pati ang mga kababayan at bansa niya.
For me, the answer is correct. It's only fair to cooperate in/do something that will benefit our fellow countrymen who pay taxes used in sending us to school.
I want your opinion.
